Life of an Air Force Wife
I recently graduated from Oklahoma State University. We then moved to Dayton, Ohio at Wright-Patt AFB (Air Force Base) where my husband, Tyler is stationed. We bought our first house: 1400 sq feet, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 1 car garage, 2 story, everything has been redone and it's beautiful! Tyler is currently at a leadership training in Alabama, so Anna & I decided to make a trip to Oklahoma to see family & friends. What is most comical about this trip is that one week before we left for OK, Anna asked me when we would go visit "homa." I told her that it would be at least a year or so---yeah, so much for that! However, poor little Anna doesn't think we live in Ohio now, because after only 3 months of being there-we're back in Oklahoma. I guess I win the award for confusing my daughter!
I've been able to visit lots of family/friends while being here. Last week we went to see my in-laws in Bartlesville, and now we're in Broken Arrow visiting my long-time friends, the Mons family. Last night we went to Incredible Pizza-a huge place that includes games, a bowling alley, indoor racetrack, a buffet and more. It's quite the hotspot. Anna played games and cashed in her tickets for a whistle, which I helped her choose. What a bright idea that was! Her whistle didn't stop blowing for a least 30 minutes. Yeah, another clever mom award over here please! Thank you!
My birthday is this friday, September 1st. I will be 28. YIKES! I am only 2 years from the big 30. *sigh* At least I still look young....right?? Just smile and nod your head for my birthday present. *wink*
