Choir practice went pretty well--we now have a choir president! Hooray! So we have a choir president and 4 section leaders, what more could a choir director need? (besides more people attending, of course!) I sang Via Dolorosa last week and there's a man in my ward who really enjoyed it, in fact he wanted a recording of the song so I thought I'd email an attachment of it, but Tyler suggested just burning him a cd of all the songs I've recorded of myself singing, so I did that & Tyler gave him a copy at church. (hello run-on sentence!) He sent me an email regarding it and said such nice things:
Please don't apologize for the lack of an e-mail, the CD MORE than made up for the wait. We listened to it over dinner and it was superb. You are an incredible singer. I've heard other women with similar voices, but none can hold a candle. You have such control. I am not a musician, but I know quality when I hear it and you have quality.
I don't want to forget his compliments--especially when I doubt my singing ability, it will be nice to return to this post and re-read it.

Fiddly plaits are braids that take a long time and are fiddly - you know - intricate.
Hi Jill,
Could I possibly have a copy of your CD? I would love it, especially since we're not in the same ward any more and I can't hear you sing every Sunday. I loved it when you sat behind me in RS.
Love, Kathey
