I've never looked forward to the weekend as much as I do now...after spending the whole week in school, with countless hours spent in the practice rooms on campus--my voice (and my mind) look forward to some relaxation!
Opera was fun today. I am the mother of the plaintaff (sp?) in the TRIAL BY JURY opera scene. I think it's going to be a lot of fun...the FIGARO scene is also getting better.
We went to shannon's house tonight for a wonderful dinner, which included artichokes. It was my first time to eat them--they were...different, but good. If I ever find them on sale, I think I'll buy them. :o) Then we played Carcassonne...and I even won!
Tomorrow is my audition....wish me luck! Dayton Opera Chorus bound...maybe.

We had a whole enrichment on artichokes. It was a bit much but very fun. I love them. Always have.
