Overwhelmed

Would you believe that after a wonderful TOFW that I could already be overwhelmed??? I guess the whole day wasn't overwhelming-just choir practice. We only have 2 more practices to go and it was slow-going as we learned the last 2 songs. However, I think we learned them pretty well, for the most part. Now we have one more practice to polish the songs, then a dress rehearsal, then a performance. It will be WONDERFUL. I just know it will be. They sing so well and are very talented in music.

Before choir practice, my little family & I visited a "Back to School" get together for some music students at my college. I was a bit reluctant to attend since the invitation mentioned some non-word of wisdom-drinks. However, I thought it might be a good "opportunity" for them to learn my standards. Anna ended up being the center of attention. No one else there was married, let alone had children. She soaked up all the attention and even convinced 2 guys to play freeze tag with her...everyone seems quite friendly.

Well, we have attempted to rid ourselves of the fruit flies. We cut up a banana and put it in a tall glass, topped it with saran wrap and poked one little hole on the top. As of now there are 3 fruit flies in there...we'll see how many more join in on the "fun."
