I always wondered why I would sway while singing/practicing a song, or sway while I played the piano, or sway while conducting the choir...I thought perhaps I was strange for swaying all the time--when I wouldn't see anyone else swaying. Then I went back to college to study music. I found myself in choir practice surrounded by 30+ other people swaying while they sang...I've found my home for swaying.

I had a great voice lesson today. It feels SO GOOD to be prepared for all of my classes. I went to opera and we practiced our opera scene from The Marriage of Figaro. It was fun singing with so many other people. I must admit--I was a little lost at times and let me just say that it's hard to find your part with 7 other people singing something different...but I know that I'll get it. :o)
