In almost 8 years of marriage...

...Today was our very first visit to the ER. Kristina's ear was bleeding so I took her in. The funny thing? They said her ear was "just fine." "Fine?" "Yes, no problems." "Then why was it bleeding?" "I don't know - but they look just fine." Very helpful. They gave me some ear drops and we were on our way.

Your first time!? We practically have our own parking space. ;) I'm glad her ear is "fine." Keep me posted!

I hope her ear gets better soon. I am sorry the doctors didn't know what was wrong. That is frusterating. Hopefully the ear drops will help.

Wow. That's scary. Doctors sure aren't helpful, are they?

My youngest kept choking one night and we made TWO trips to the ER- nose drops, etc. By morning I took him to the Ped. and he found a plastic toy stuck in his throat. He could have choked to death! So don't assume anything based on ER. I have had good luck, too- broken arm set on the same son, etc..... H

We've only taken Aaron to the ER once. It was right after a surgery. The good thing is that the swelling wasn't going to get any bigger. But, if we saw a line traveling up his abdomen, then that's bad. Okay? I was so upset. It didn't help that it was days before I had Cole. Now, Aaron is shell shocked by other people, especially those in white coats!
