Don’t give up. Don’t you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead. You keep your chin up. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come. Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don’t come until heaven; but for those who embrace the gospel of... Jesus Christ, they come. -Elder Jeffrey R. Holland

Traditions, part 2,178
Sharing the Christmas Story with my children on Christmas Eve. I was excited to share the story of Jesus' birth with Keith & Kristina. Here is how our evening went: Tyler read the story. Yury translated the story into Russian for Kristina & Keith. Anna moved the figures from our Little People Nativity throughout the story. Iliana was crying. Keith was screaming. Kristina was crying because Keith kept throwing said figures at her head. Maggie was trying to chew on the figures. And Heather was videoing the whole thing. Yeah, I'm not going to post that video on here. But telling the story is something I want to do every year. Merry Christmas to you all. May we remember Christ's birth everyday and thank Him for His sacrifice and love for us.

We love our set too. That scene sounds so familiar. Crying, whining, throwing things... Are you sure you weren't recording at my house?
It wouldn't be Christmas without at least a little mayhem. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas, Jill!
Some day that video will be precious to you. This stage too shall pass.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Love, Kathey
Back on Temple Square we had a Christmas tradiotion in my Zone, and that was reading through the Book of Luke one chapter each day in December. It was inspired by a fireside by Elder Tingey, about the three levels of Christmas: that way the night when we celebrate the birth of Christ, we read of the miracle of his resurrection.
