Traditions, part eight

Yes, I have more traditions! And this one is of my family singing together. Every holiday (especially Christmas) we get out music and perform for each other and sing together. It's my favorite part of Christmas Eve! Our family recorded some Christmas music back in 2004. I didn't realize that I could upload those songs with a link, but my friend, Nicole, did it on her blog - so I thought I'd try it out, too. Enjoy!

p.s. I also put a link on the sidebar of the Christmas music link and a link of other music that I've recorded. Disclaimer: these songs were recorded back in 2004 and I feel that with the training I've had since then that my voice is better now. I hope to record more music in the near future. :o)

I LOVE Sleep, Little Lamb!! Where did you find that music? It makes me want to sing! I haven't sang hardly at all since I left Oklahoma. I really miss it. I did just sing in a quartet for the R.S. Christmas dinner. We sang, The Straw Carol. It sounded really good...we blended really well. I had so much fun! Listening to all of your music makes me kind of sad that I don't sing more. Who are you singing with in these songs? Is it through church?

Beautimus! I love the rendition of The First Noel... lovely! Is that your brother singing with you? It's a great recording... sounds professional! They're all beautiful! I love your solo in A Special Night. We are so blessed!

I grew up singing with my family, too! On Christmas Eve, we always had a "program" and everyone sang or played the piano or participated in some way. I loved that. Music is such a beautiful part of Christmas traditions!
