Traditions, part nine

Traditional Christmas letters. I am not sure how we started sending out Christmas letters - because my parents don't, but my grandparents do - so perhaps that is where I get the desire from? I enjoy writing (typing) a Christmas letter to send out to family and friends. We also include a picture of the children. This year was really fun because we have three kids in our family! Plus my very talented sister-in-law Tisha made our Christmas letters for us! Do you send out Christmas letters or Christmas emails? Why?

This must be a fun year to send out cards! I love the pics you've gotten of them with the matching sweaters. How cute! I have always sent out Christmas cards, but this year... I'm only sending them to grandparents/aunts and uncles that we never see. I figure we have a blog now, if anyone wants to see pics of the kids, that should suffice!

Letters, not email. Christmas comes but once a year, so no need to be tacky and send Christmas letters via email! (Maybe I'll sing a different tune once letters cost a buck each to send...)

I want to start doing this, but we really can't afford it this year, nor do I have the time. I hope to do it next year, but we'll see! I love getting letters from people, and it's a great way to hear from people who either 1) don't have blogs or 2) do have blogs but I have no idea what they are. =)

I love getting Christmas letters in the mail and especially like it when they include a photo and/or update letter. I've done Christmas letters the last 2 years since Scott and I have been married. I was planning on doing it this year as well, but haven't gotten to it yet...I need to get a move on!

I think I'm with Nicole - now that I've been blogging, I feel less motivated to do the cards.

We HAVE to do emails or put a message in our blog- doing anything with the mail in Mexico is a fiasco!! Do check our blog soon, as we hope to have our Christmas message posted this week~ May you be blessed with many special blessings this Christmas with your newly enlarged family!

We do love to send out cards, but sometimes an email is what we send...which will probably be this year. I usually make my cards, and each one is individual (rather than assembly-line production). I just like to do that. I actually sent out 3 different types of wedding announcements! We have never done a Christmas letter, but I enjoy reading them. Your pics of your beautiful children are wonderful!! Lissa just came up and said, "Awww, they are soooo cute!" I agree! Love you, cuz!
