O Christmas Tree! I love the theme of red & gold for my tree and each year I try to improve it somehow, by either ornaments or lights, etc. This year I've added my favorite tree accessory yet!

Any guesses what we watch at night when the kids are asleep? Does your Christmas Tree have a theme? If so, what is it? What is your favorite Christmas Tree accessory?

That is so cool! My son would love that.
I don't know if this counts as a theme, but Jason and I like to travel, so we get ornaments from places we've been together. So when we decorate the tree, it's like a walk down memory lane and we can say, "Oh, remember that trip to D.C.? Wasn't the Library of Congress cool?"
Rob and I decorated our tree this year with a red/green/white theme and poinesettas (as for the lights) for the ornaments we kinda just have a hodge podge of stuff from kindergarden and up.
That is awesome! I love that you have it turning around like that. I'll have to take that into consideration when we get our tree (we can't afford a fake one yet--we're hoping to find one on sale after Christmas, so for now it's a real one). We don't really have a theme...our ornaments are red and blue, though, so maybe that's it? And we have a silver garland. We don't have a bunch of different ornaments yet, but I do love the nativity ball that we got from my brother Dana and his family last year. :-)
Whoo crazy-- I've never heard of that- that looks awesome!
We get one special ornament each year that's either really pretty or reflects where we are living that year. When we were in DC we got one of the White House that says merry Christmas, the year, and has a pic of the White House and a boy on a rocking horse in front. We hope to get one with a boy on or near an airplane that says something about the Wright brothers for this year. If you find one let me know!
