Don’t give up. Don’t you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead. You keep your chin up. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come. Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don’t come until heaven; but for those who embrace the gospel of... Jesus Christ, they come. -Elder Jeffrey R. Holland
We leave New Years Eve morning on a 32 hour trip from Acapulco to Huatulco, Mex.! We will welcome in the New Year taking turns at the helm of our boat- I have a bottle of Martinelli's in the fridge, so that will be my toast to the New Year! Happy New Year!
We've been invited to share new Year's with some long time friends who have moved back to the area. Eating raclette- a French dish-well, not eating the "dish" literally. And on New Years day, I am going to make resolutions this year. Didn't do it last year. Something about weight loss, budgeting and more time with family :). Go figure?
We're having Peter's aunt and uncle and a couple of other friends over to eat soup and play games. We informed our guests that they are welcome to stay as long as they want to welcome in the new year, but that their hosts will probably be heading to bed around 10:00 PM...
We have started a tradition. We go to the temple and take a family photo. I think I've told you this before, but that's really the only tradition that we have. We have done it every year that we have been together and the photo has changed dramatically every year. Check my blog hopefully tomorrow or the next day to see all the photos. Happy New Year's Jill!!

That't tomorrow, right? ;)
Same thing I do every night. Nothing.

Rob and I are going over to his sister house and playing some games and some snacks until midnight or later.
It should be fun. Since Rob and I love playing games. What are you doing?
Games and snacks in the evening/night and all day the 1st. We'll see how we hold up :)!
