Kristina's first day of pre-k

Talk about pure excitement! Kristina was thrilled about going to school today. Or, at least, she knew that SOMETHING exciting was going on and she was excited about it. She got on the bus without any problems and came home with a note saying that she had a great first day! Here are some pictures of my beautiful little schoolgirl, Kristina:

So cute! My little guy LOVES the bus. It ranks right up there with snack time as his favorite parts of school.

Oh wow! Look at her! I'm loving her hair. Her orphanage haircut has grown out! She is beautiful. I love her excitement about school, and seeing how far she's come! HOORAY!

Hello,

I'm new to your blog and this is my first comment. I have spent far too many hrs reading old posts and getting to "know" your family. What a beautiful family it is ... the kiddos are so cute!

Your adoption experience is completely different from ours, so your blog is very interesting for me.

I'm an a-mom of two children adopted domestically (different bparents) who are now almost 6 (Mya- June 2003) and 3 (Justin- Oct. 2005). Both adoptions are open (including visits in each others' homes). We live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Thanks for sharing about your experiences!

Her little video made my day! How quickly we forget to get excited about the little things in life. She is such a doll, sounds like she is one happy little girl.

Oh my goodness, she is absolutely adorable. You can just feel her energy coming off the computer screen! And I love how curly her hair is! =)

Kristina is too cute! Is that sign language she is doing? If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take her to learn it?
