Weekend trip

My brother, Evan, is getting married to his sweetheart, Shelbee, in the Dallas Temple in June. There is also a family reunion the week before in San Antonio, TX. We were planning to attend the reunion and then visit with family until the wedding before coming back. Then we found out we're moving this fall, so we should save our money for that. So we decided to attend the sealing and visit some family on our way there and back. Then we realized that we don't even have money for that. So, now I am going to fly down the day before Evan's wedding and fly back after his reception. That's right - I'm flying down on friday and flying home the next day. That's a lot of flying in a very little amount of time. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful. I'm grateful to be able to go and see my brother's wedding. But I'm sad that Tyler won't be with me in the Temple and I'm sad that my extended family won't be able to meet the twins for the first time either.

It's nice you can still go to the sealing, but it's too bad that your family can't go!

Where are you moving to?

Enjoy your brother's wedding. Hopefully your family will be able to meet your new little ones and see your oldest again soon.
Btw...I love Dallas (not the football team, but the city and airport)!

I am glad you get to go to the wedding. Sorry it didn't work out like you wanted it to. Have a great time at the wedding.

I'm sorry you don't get to go as a family. We had to cancel our vacation this year to 3 back-to-back family reunions, so I feel your pain.
But I am grieved for you that your family will not see the twins.
Have a good time though in the time you see them.

And thanks for your comment on my blog - getting rid of stuff is it's own form of therapy.

I'm sad that we won't get to see you at the reunion either, but we definitely understand the need to save money. I'm glad you still get to go to your brother's sealing, of course. It's hard to go to one without your husband, I know, but at least you can still go and show your brother your support. =) And we'll figure out some way to meet Keith and Kristina! Just move further west =P
