Interesting situation
So a year and a half ago, we weren't even thinking about adoption. Then we felt God inspire us to do pursue adoption, and we did. He blessed us throughout the whole process and still blesses us to this day with our children. Now we have desires to adopt again, but after much prayer and meditation, we feel that now is not the right time. Or, at least, God wants us to wait. This makes sense since we are moving within the next 6 months. I hope, and pray, that another adoption is in God's plan for us in the future. We would love to bring more children into our family through international adoption again.

Maybe God wants you to wait because he has a particular child in mind for you that is not ready yet.
It makes me happy to see how much you are following what God wants you to do for now. Keep at it and you'll never go wrong!
That is exciting!
More power to you! I think I'd rather eat raw hamburger and shave my legs with a spoon rather than go through it again. But then again, our process took 5 very long years to complete and we ended up with two allbeit adorable, but very needy and very high maintenance kids.
Knowing what I know now about the whole process and how carefully the Lord orchestrated EVERY SINGLE DETAIL of it, my only suggestion would be to trust His plan and He will show you the way in His time and His way.
Maybe someday we'll do it again, or maybe not. It really depends on my kids. When and if all of them are ready and willing and the boys are stable enough and have been for at least 6 months...and if there is anything left of me by the time we reach that point, then we'll look into it. Until then, my quiver is full and the Lord has blessed me richly.
