Packing

So we are packing up our house for our move next week. It is taking a toll on us all. However, the weather has been nice the last two days - allowing for our children to be able to play in the backyard while Tyler & I get some major packing/hauling to the storage unit done. We are trying to be very conscious of how the children are doing because this is a stressful time for them.

There has been some recent stress concerning some paperwork that needs to be done before we can move. Long story short: our twins have special needs so we are signed up in a program through the Air Force which will not allow us to move to a base where they don't have the care that our kids need. Our local pediatrician put down that our kids need a GI specialist - which there isn't one near our base in FL - but we don't really need a GI anymore...so we need to get the paperwork redone or they will reassign us to go somewhere else - which we don't want to have happen. Did I say this was a short story? Sorry, so now we have to hurry up and get this paperwork filled out tomorrow and friday and we hope and pray that this will not delay our departure to FL. We hope, we hope.

Good luck with everything! And I hope you have help with the packing - get those home teachers over there!

Fingers crossed. But anything can happen with the military so be prepared to roll with it. You can handle it!

Oh my gosh Jill! I totally know what you're talking about. I've been stressed that they would change our orders to Hawaii because Joey needs a urologist and nephrologist for kidney stuff. Don't you think it would be easier to look at EFMP stuff before assigning a base??? I'm sure they'll get yours figured out, but talk about something you wish you didn't need to deal with, right?! Good luck with it all. We hope to at least GET our orders this week. We'll have to keep in touch!

Oh wow. As if moving isn't stressful enough as it is. Hopefully it will all work out the way the Lord has planned for your family. *hugs*
