Hope

I am thankful for hope. Even when times are tough, there is always hope. We are on our third set of medical paperwork (for the twins' special needs) to submit for us to move to FL. If Patrick AFB denies this set of paperwork - because they feel that the twins won't have their needs met there - then we will not be moving to FL. Tyler & I really have our hearts set on moving to Patrick AFB. We are hopeful that our paperwork will be acceptable to them. If not, then we are hopeful that we will enjoy the assignment the AF would give us as a replacement.

You know you might get Colorado instead! Hope is definitely important. I've had to rely heavily on it over the last year. One thing to remember is that sometimes we have our heart set on going one direction and then we are sent in another. As long as the most important things are in place, the other things will work themselves out. Love ya xx

Oh wow! I can't imagine what they think you need that they don't have in that area! I don't know what your husband's MOS is, but if you want to stay close to the beach and in that general area, the AF base in Pensacola has an awesome medical staff for kids with special needs, as does Keesler AFB in MS (right on the coast!). The developmental pediatrician that we see is at Keesler and he travels to Pensacola too.
I hope you're able to sort it all out!

Faith, hope, and charity - the greatest of all virtues and without them we are nothing. Ironically, one also can't have one without the others, either. So, keep that hope alive!

As I've said before, I have great faith that the Lord will put you where HE wants you. He's the grand Master and knows the beginning from the end. He can also see what we cannot. He also takes us very seriously when we offer the committment of "I'll go where you want me to go, Dear Lord."

So, my hope for you is that your hope and your faith and your sanity will remain strong as you wiggle your way through the process. And, if the Lord does send you in a different direction, my faith says you will find peace and joy and understanding in it...and that you will be able to settle your life again soon in whatever location you happen to be sent to.
