Happy 6th Birthday Iryna!

Happy Birthday to my baby Iryna Louise! Iryna turned 6 years old yesterday. 2 days prior she promptly lost her other front top tooth - isn't she cute? Here is a picture with our primary president - person in charge of the kids from age 18mos to 12 years old at church - who comes over and brings a cake to each child on their birthday. Isn't that sweet?? And she brought her daughter, McCauley, with her who is in Iryna's class at church - which class, incidentally, I teach. :D

Iryna requested strawberry cupcakes, chocolate milk, and pizza, er, actually she eats the crazy bread from Little Caesars; we all ate the pizza.

Isn't she a doll? She was super excited for her birthday this year. I think she understands more about what it means than she did last year. :D

We invited Sarah's family over to join us for pizza, cupcakes, and swimming!

For her birthday, she received an underwater camera (thanks, Sarah!), candy, silly bandz, glow stick bracelets, a sparkly ball, an outift, and the wii music game.

I like to put some thoughts down about what Iryna is up to nowadays, so I can remember later on - and so can she! Iryna is very affectionate. She gives many spontaneous hugs and kisses to all her family members throughout the day. She is naturally happy and gets excited about any activity suggested by anyone to do. She is now riding her princess bike through the house - we have tile floors, so it's fine by me. :D

Iryna wants to be like her big sister, Anna, and loves spending time with her. Right now they are playing wii music in the family room. Iryna also enjoys making Keithy laugh. If she finds something that amuses Keith, she will do it over and over and over and over to make him happy. Iryna loves to eat. In fact, if you leave any food out that she can reach - she will eat it (this can be bad AND good).

She likes healthy food! Some favorites include: cherry tomatoes, strawberries, watermelon, bananas, green pepper, carrots, celery, milk, cheese, yogurt, and will eat just about anything that I offer her to eat. Her vocabulary is coming along nicely and she can communicate more with us now. She shares a room with Anna and has her own Dora bed, although, she doesn't seem to like Dora as much as she used to...

Iryna wants to be good. She has a desire to do what we ask her to do, however, she becomes overwhelmed and overstimulated and stressed with some things, such as putting her shoes on by herself, doing her chores (putting the shoes on the shoe rack), and fastening her seatbelt - something she can do just fine all by herself. She is such a sweet and pleasant girl. Her hair is growing out now and we can put it in ponytails, which really suits her. Happy Birthday to my youngest baby girl - Iryna Louise, I love you so! :D
