I am so excited to share my Valentine's Day this year! I dressed the kids in matching red shirts for school. They came with as much candy as they collected on Halloween last year. Sheesh!
Tyler took me to a fancy Valentine's luncheon buffet - so delicious! He had said that we were celebrating as a couple for lunch and then as a family for dinner, so I figured that we were done for the day and I was happy with the romantic lunch...but, then Tyler showed up after work with a bouquet of konfetti roses (my favorite). So sweet!
We took the kids on a bike ride around the block and then went to the park. We picked up pizza on the way home for dinner.
After the kids went to bed, Tyler's friend, Dave, came over with his guitar. Then Tyler sang "The Luckiest" for me. It was SO sweet! I even cried, not because of his lack of musical talent, but, because he truly meant every word in that song when he sang it. I think that I am the luckiest wife, ever. I love you, Tyler! :)
ADDENDUM: I can't believe I forgot to mention that Tyler wrote me a poem and had it written in calligraphy! It is about my brown eyes. So beautiful!
