Happy Father's Day

Yesterday was Father's Day - and we tried to make it extra special for the Daddy in our home. On the way to church, we all said things that we like about Daddy. It was special for him to hear things from all of us.

At church the RS handed out small bags of chocolate chip cookies for all the dads. Plus the primary sent home candy from the children to the dads. Tyler was totally stocked up on sweets and spared no time enjoying them. :)

The kids gave daddy some pampering of shoulder and foot rubs. We watched a video on the life of Joseph Smith.

I went with a Hawaiian theme for dinner: teriyaki burgers, grilled red potatoes, lemonade, and pineapple upside-down cake. It was so delicious and the man of the house was happy. *insert manly affirmation here*

I am so grateful for Tyler. He is a wonderful father. He makes time to play with the children and rolls up his sleeves when they need help. Happy Father's Day, honey! :)
