We had a fabulous Independence Day this year! We woke up and went boating! It was my first time to actually drive a boat and I really enjoyed it. Tyler went tubing with all the kids - Iryna only went once...and then everyone (but me) swam in the river. It's part salt water and part fresh water. We also saw about 15 dolphins swimming - some were right by our boat. It was amazing! After boating, we had some pizza and watermelon at home and swam in the pool. Then we went to play $1 bowling on base. We came back home and grilled hot dogs and made homemade blueberry ice cream. We relaxed and watched a movie. Everyone was exhausted from all the fun we had. It was a great day. :)

Wow, sounds like you had an amazing day! I love that the dolphins swam right near your boat - so cool!
P.S. Homemade blueberry ice cream sounds yummy - do you guys have an ice cream maker?
