Some days

Do you know those days when a lot of little things add up and you find yourself frustrated? That was today for me. You know, when you're in the middle of making dinner and you drop a container of pretzels all over the floor...and then you have the water running in the sink and it overflows because you weren't paying attention...you clean the water up only to realize that it went into the cabinets below, so you have to clean those out, too...I know that I am not alone in these types of things.

I have a lot on my plate. I am busy. Guess what? That's you, too. That's my mom. That's my best friend. That's everyone to some degree. We are all "busy" with various things. Sometimes it is manageable and other times it feels overwhelming. I think that is just life. I am reading this book:

Tonight I read this in the book:

"There are plenty of troubles in the world, but there have always been troubles in every age and era. Don't be preoccupied with them and don't be discouraged by them. Our time is filled with wonderful opportunities and great blessings." -Elder Jeffrey R. Holland.

It can be hard for me to see those wonderful opportunities and great blessings when I am super stressed. But, tonight, after I put the kids to bed, I took a nice, hour-long bath and read and relaxed. And guess what? I feel better. Not 100%, but better. And that is good enough for now. :)

I've really liked and appreciated your last couple of posts. How true it is. Life is always going to be a struggle, because that is life. How wonderful, though, to know the purpose of our life and see the Lord's hand in it. Thank you for your insights! :)
