Thoughts on prayer

The other night I was reading scripture stories to my children. The story was about Christ praying to Heavenly Father for the Nephites. A thought came to my mind - if Christ were praying to Heavenly Father for me...what would he pray? I know that we pray in Christ's name...but what actual words would he say? And if Christ would pray those words - whatever they may be - should we, also, pray for those things? Such a profound thought...and yet...I haven't quite wrapped my mind around the idea just yet.
