Forgiveness

Today was quite busy! I had many things to do in preparation of Anna going to school tomorrow. There is endless paperwork just to enroll your child in pre-k, it's incredible!!!

We had FHE on gratitude tonight. I used my new little lesson book and it went quite well--wasn't too long to hold Anna's attention. We also had blessings to begin this school year. Mine talked about having a forgiving heart. And that without forgiving others it can impede our spiritual growth. This was such a surprise for me to hear, because I think of myself as someone who easily forgives. Then it probed me to look deeper inside and conjure up any hurt feelings from my past. I could remember some events that still bother me. I think I'm going to make a list of any incident that has offended me and then I plan to pray that I can forgive each one. Then, perhaps, my spiritual growth will not be hindered any further. I'm so grateful for the priesthood and how it blesses my life. I'm such a blessed person.
