Time For Me

It was really difficult to wake up today. I'm not sure if it's because my house is so cold or what. It was literally a STRUGGLE to rouse myself. Poor little Anna--she's always so ready for me to be up & spend time with her, but I was just DRAGGING. After I got ready for the day, I had more energy, thankfully.

When Anna went to school I did a couple of eBay things, did some dishes, and when Tyler came home I went to mail a few international packages at the PO. Leia & Spencer came over to play with Anna after she came home from school. I think they had a good time. The original plan was for Leia to come over, but Spencer begged to come along as well-which I didn't mind. During their playtime, Spencer poured some pink sand along the part in Anna's hair. (remind you of anything from Bollywood, Melisa??) Here's some pictures:

So that was fun. After Tyler left for Columbus, Anna & I packed up in the truck and went to wal-mart. We purchased a much-needed space heater. It looks like it will be very helpful in keeping our house above 59 degrees--yes, that's how cold our house is currently. After the bedtime routine, I actually allowed myself to do some scrapbooking. I can't tell you how nice it feels to do it. I'm doing a scrapbook of a "heart attack" that my family did for my grandparents--you know, the whole activity of cutting our paper hearts and writing nice thoughts on them. I printed off some pictures with my new photo printer and began scrappin'. WHAT FUN!

Oh, I took this picture of Anna yesterday, apparently Anna has not completely learned what is appropriate and inappropriate in dressing a person:

Isn't this cute?? Yeah, who needs more than panties in this cold weather??

OK. So the panties picture cracked me up. Thanks for the laugh.

Hee, hee! I think the insulation in the attic is a great idea. Right now your attic is probably toasty warm 'cause that's where all the heat is rising to. I wish the owners had been smart enough to but insulation above the false celing at the last housa we lived in.

Love it! Bollywood, here she comes!

I cannot make myself get out from warm blankets when the room is cold. And I HATE getting out of the shower when the house is cold. I'm so sorry! My house has an awful draft in it. You can feel the wind next to the doors and windows. I hope the next place we live isn't like this.
