I added a cool feature to my blog, I can now write in Hindi! (something everyone should have as an option, right?) Let me demonstrate:
ई ऍम बेऔतिफुल!
Oh yeah, now if only I could speak it. Perhaps I could send Shahrukh a letter...
Back in 1996 I began going to school at Oklahoma State University. I remember that the other girls in the college would dress inappropriately on campus, but I mainly recall feeling like I wasn't as attractive because I didn't have their figures...now I'm back in school again and am appalled at the clothing I see girls wearing, even the new freshmen! I've seen cleavage everyday for the past 5 weeks. I'm tired of it. Cover up ladies!!!
Classes went well today. I got to do some improv in Opera and found myself actually enjoying it! I don't have much (read: any) experience in acting, but am slowly growing more confident in my abilities. There's this guy, Erikk (yes, it has 2 k's, poor guy) in my opera class. He's a senior and has a HUGE bass voice. He seems nice enough, but of all the other students in the class--I felt like he was the most distant. But today he saw a picture of my daughter and gushed over how cute she is. And now I have a new friend. :0)
I have 5 loads (yes LOADS) of laundry waiting for me upstairs...I don't want to put them away. I have an italian midterm tomorrow...I'm not ready for it...the downstairs isn't tidy...the kitchen floor hasn't been swept/mopped in 3-4 weeks...I'm not complaining...it's more like I'm making a list of all that needs to be done...aren't you glad I'm sharing it with you? हह?

I hope you made the Young Men clean your kitchen floors during their Service Scavenger Hunt since they haven't been done in so long. Thank you for participating.
They chose to read Anna a book and the famous "heart & soul" song was played on the piano...I should have had them do the floors, though, now that you mentioned it...
I think my husband can relate with you on the "cover up, ladies!" sentiment. It seems like a lot of the girls at UVSC take advantage of the no-dress code, trying to show just how much they're not at BYU by showing too much skin. It's sad, really. I even see some inappropriate stuff here at BYU--you wouldn't think so, but there you go! That's one advantage of it getting colder (we're expecting snow this weekend). It's a lot harder to be immodest when it's 30 degrees outside. =P
Thanks for giving me another thing to not miss about college. :)
My laundry is woefully behind and my floor is gettng bad. And I don't even have any good excuses...
Talk about immodesty, my little kids are all over the place in just their underwear.
