Today was crazy busy. I'm wondering why I look forward to saturdays so much--since I am swamped with all those things that I can't do during the week (like laundry, dishes, vacuuming, cleaning) plus I want to spend as much time as possible with my sweet little family that I feel like I don't every get to see. Today I taught voice lessons, then I had a choir workshop on campus (required) and then I've been spending a lot of time organizing choir music for tomorrow. We're going to sing PILGRIM'S HYMN. It's such a lovely piece. I'm really looking forward to the choir learning/singing it.
Tonight I'll be hole-punching music, putting laundry away, doing another load of dishes and hoping to have time to play a game with my honey bunny. Below you will find some photos of Anna plus some video of her from the Kindergarten Musical Program from this past week, plus a clip of me singing "The Curse" from the movie Rigoletto, which I sang just last night at the ward talent show. Not my best performance, but that's all right. Plus there is a cute video of Anna singing a primary song. Enjoy:
Anna & her teacher, Mrs. Hamlin.
Anna earned $1 from her star program while at other people's houses plus she had $1 from her tooth fairy money and she bought this lovely wand at the dollar store. She is more than thrilled with it and I'm happy that it will match her Sleeping Beauty dress for Halloween. (Thanks for the dress, jessica!)
Anna's favorite type of pictures to do. I wonder how many years the "silly picture" will be considered a "must" by Anna. :o)

I think we have those same pillows.
What a cute wand!
I love that she took a bow. Too cute. She is your daughter. Born to perform! :)
I like the music on Rigoletto, but it always makes me cry. Great job! Your hair look fabulous by the way...
I liked the way Anna kept going when she didn't know the words. Such a cutie. Jaden loves that song too.
iphilip, yes we have the same pillows. You're so observant!
Melisa, I don't think that Anna really realizes that she doesn't know the words...ha ha.
OK, so somehow I sent your blog to you. Just put what I said in the e-mail here!!
Hey, I think I might know that Pilgrim's Hymn...if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's so incredibly beautiful! And even if it's not, I'm sure it's beautiful, too =P. Love the videos, by the way! Such a cute family you have! I really hope our kids enjoy singing...
