Well, we leave for OH tomorrow. It's been a grand few days here at the Mons' home. I wish good friends didn't live so far away. :o( As much as I'd rather stay here and play endless games - there's so much I need to get done at home, namely, laundry!
So, I hadn't even thought of the possibility of Anna having fever blisters - especially not at 6 years old...but, she has one. Poor girl. She unfortunately will have to go through life with fever blisters & cancar sores, just like me. I wish that I could control what Anna received through our genes and what she didn't. Question of the day: what is something that you wish your child(ren) didn't receive from you?

Fever blisters and heredity are an interesting thing. When my mom was alive, she and our daughter Helena would frequently have fever blisters at the same time, even though we didn't live near each other. I don't think I've ever had one, so they seem to have skipped a generation. Weird, huh?
It seems that Keeton has inherited the "small" gene. I have never been a tall person and have always wanted to be a bit taller. She was in the <3% in weight until 2 years and has never been above like the 40% in height. It is strange because Carter is in the 97% in height. Who determines this stuff??
I'm glad Elijah didn't inherit Lauren's shortness. I am 3 inches taller than my dad, and the way Elijah is growing now, he will hopefully be 4-30 inches taller than me.
Well, if I had a daughter, I would hope she didn't inherit my boob-lessness. But since I don't have a daughter, I don't have to worry about it. =)
