I had another ultrasound this morning. I have two eggies that are measuring at 11 and 12, respectively. (grow eggies, GROW!) On Monday I'll have another ultrasound and most likely will be doing the HCG shot that night...everything's right on track for this cycle. One good thing about doing infertility treatments is that my cycles aren't as long as they normally are - therefore we can fit more cycles in a year than I would be having...more opportunities to become pregnant! Hooray! Of course, I'm hoping it will happen sooner rather than later. :o)
I went to the commissary to buy groceries. One lady was giving out samples of this:
I've never purchased hard salami before - or any other type of salami. Now that I'm on the SBD (south beach diet), meat is a staple for me...so I bought one...but now I'm wondering what exactly to do with it! Any ideas?

Slice it up and have it with crackers and cheese! That's what we always do for the holidays. Yummy! You can also use it as a lunchmeat if you slice it very thin. Or it is delicious in pasta with black olives and feta cheese and maybe some tomatoes...
Yeah eggies! What size are they supposed to be again?
Maybe stir-fry it with bell peppers?
Dice it and add it to omelets. But crackers and pasta sound like good ideas to me. Stir fry - I'd have never come up with it, but it might be great.
What is the scale used for the eggies? That way we know where you are and what you're trying to get to.
KC
throw it in the trash..yuck...
Also, you spoke blasphemy on your blog, and I quote, "Of course, I'm hoping it will happen sooner rather than later."
Do you see the blasphemous word? I'll give you a hint, it has to do with that wretched school just south of OKC.
Oooo, crackers and cheese and yep in pasta w/ olive oil and olives is totally yummy.
I'm crossin' my fingers for your little "eggies" to grow, grow grow!!
