It's amazing

It's amazing how one day you're eating just fine on your diet and you actually begin thinking how easy it is to be on this diet and you wonder how you ever found it difficult to be on the diet. And then the next day, all you want is ice cream and non-diet foods. How can this be? Can someone please bring me some Graeter's chocolate ice cream? I neeeeeed some. At least today, I do

Today I watched little Glitter, which was fun. She's about 18 months, so she's a little more than half of the age of my twins. When we moved to OH, Anna was 4 years old, the same age of the twins by the time they get here. (I wish it were today) Their birthday is on May 17th - we're planning to have a birthday party to celebrate. I'm going to make 2 little cakes and then we'll have a couple of presents for them - for when they come home.

Things are coming together for the garage sale. Our garage is over half full of items and there's still more to come, from several people. I hope that the weather will be nice - right now the forecast is for RAIN. *sigh* I'll just pray for sunny weather and leave it up to God. He knows my needs.

Here is a picture of my sister, Jennifer, who is engaged. She will be sealed in the Oklahoma City Temple at the end of June. Isn't she lovely? This was my mom's wedding dress. :o)

Awww, she looks beautiful! I love weddings!

I hope it does rain on you, that would be a bummer.

I totally know what you mean about the diet. Yesterday was really tough, but today has been easy. Strange. I guess if you can just get through the tough day, hopefully the next one will be an easy one.

Holy Moly! I came here to comment on understanding the cravings (please, someone, come eat the birthday cake in my house!). BUT, as soon as the page came up, O Mio Bambino Caro (I may have just butchered the spelling) started playing. I had planned on telling you tomorrow that that song is my dream goal to sing convincingly. It's a sign! Seriously, that is the most amazing song ever.

Thanks again for watching my baby this morning. And for her cute 'do!

A friend taught me an important phrase recently, "This too shall pass!" Think of that when those sneaky cravings come around.

So the twins have a birthday coming up soon. (I thought they were 4 now.) Sounds like a fun celebration.

And Jennifer is LOVELY. How wonderful that she is being married in the temple. Are you going to be able to go?

Best wishes for Saturday!

Love, Kathey
