More friends leaving

Next week these friends are leaving. We had them over last night for some major game-playing of dr. mario and wii - it was way fun. Here are some photos:

Don't worry - with my nintendo wii tennis elbow - I didn't play wii. However, our friends developed both "wii back" and "wii butt" while they played - it's quite the workout! I like making friends, but it's always sad when you can't be near them. :o(

Today (saturday) we were supposed to have a full day, beginning with Anna's first t-ball game of the season. Well, we played games last night up until about 1am, then Tyler & I watched not 1, not 2, but 3 episodes of MONK, putting us in bed around 4am. So Tyler, being the wonderful man that he is, got up at 8am to take Anna to her first t-ball game. At 8:30am, the coach called and said the game was cancelled due to the rainy weather. I was supposed to have a badly needed haircut today, but cancelled it due to the t-ball game, and then we were SUPPOSED to have our family portraits taken - but since I hadn't had the haircut, we didn't do that either. So, we're making a new day which has thus far involved homemade waffles, some family dr. mario, and Tyler taking Anna on a date to go golfing on-base. I plan to begin working on more dossier documents and meet up to practice "The Lord's Prayer" which I'll be singing in church tomorrow. :o)

If you haven't noticed yet - I posted some pictures of our newly painted home on the left sidebar. It's beautiful - we absolutely love the difference that the painting has made. Compliments are welcome (read: encouraged, desired, needed). ;o)

The picture of the bed with the black pillows is the master bedroom, the one with the bed/tv is the family room...then there's the kitchen, living room...Anna & Katya's room is purple and the blue room will be for Keith. :o)

I love the colors, especially the living room and kitchen. I love warm colors on walls.

Beautiful, just beautiful! That must have taken forever, but it looks so good! I so look forward to having a home I can decorate to my own tastes. I guess I'll just have to be content with rentals for now...

We should totally come visit! The next time I'm in Ohio... (doubtful it'll be anytime soon, but you never know!)
