Family vacation

With all of the craziness in our adoption world, I'm happy to say that we've been able to take a family vacation back home:

(cue: Oklahoma theme song about "the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet when the wind comes right behind the rain". Yes, that really is our state song)

Tyler had a work trip and the military paid for us to drive instead of him flying - so our hotel stays are absolutely FREE plus they are paying for the gas and a daily food stipend. It's been really fun! Last night we stayed in the Hilton in St. Louis, MO. The room was nice, as was the pool - however, I wouldn't recommend the Imo's Pizza place that we ordered from inside the hotel. In fact, it was terrible. And to top it off, we paid over $5 for this:

Yeah, that was a bit overpriced. Anyhow, we're here in OK. More details to come later! :o)

Welcome Home! Doesn't it just make you feel warm and fuzzy to be surrounded by familiar people who love you for you and will be with you no matter what!?! I was so sorry to hear about what happened, but I know things will work out the way they are supposed to. Have a great visit;)

I can't see moving to Ohio in the forseeable future..... but who knows? I'm jealous you're in OK.

Alex and Tyler need to be best friends.. except Alex hasn't heard of "Voodoo Lady" by Ween. I don't know how Tyler will take it....

Ha! We tagged along with Jeff's trip for work. We stayed in the Marriott Residence Inn. Vacations are nicer on someone else's dollar!! :)
