Friendship never dies

One thing that I like about myself is that I am a loyal friend. I have been known to meet someone on an airplane, exchange information and still keep in contact 5 years later. I met Melisa 8 years ago in Oklahoma and we still stay in contact to this day. This past weekend we drove up and spent time with her family. We played Settlers of Catan & Ticket to Ride while the kids played wii. A great time was had by all. Enjoy the pictures:

Anna, Jaden, Daven, & Kristina playing wii.

Anna & Kristina in their Sunday dresses.

Melisa & I outside in the marvelous snow and inside playing Settlers of Catan. (what else?)

All the kids together - aren't they adorable?

As for politics - today is history in the making. This post seems to reflect my feelings on the subject of Barack Obama becoming president. Enough said.

And for the upcoming Valentine's Day - enjoy this quiz.

Good link to the political post...and I pray that God would truly get a hold of his heart. What else can we do but pray? The kids are adorable, as always!

You are a GREAT friend. I hope we always stay friends like you and Melisa have. You are wonderful. I am glad your family had a great time in Lansing. Melisa seems like a really fun friend.

What a fun time you all had!! You kids are just too darn cute!
Thanks for the political link. It reflects how I feel, as well, and I think we all need to be reminded that we need to respect his office even if we don't agree with all his choices.

Melisa is wonderful! I've recently started "chatting" with her on facebook, and I just love her! I'm glad you have so many great friends! Looks like the kids (and the adults) had a blast!
