Do you believe in miracles?

Today was busy. This morning I got a pedicure with Angela. Then I waited for Keith to come home from school. We went shopping at Kroger. I saved $70 using coupons - YEA! I came home, put away the groceries, made lunch.

Then took Keith to a local second-hand store to buy some toddler beds for the twins. Before I went into the store, I prayed that there would be two beds that would work for my kids. As I entered the store, the song "Do you believe in miracles" was playing and there they were - 2 toddler beds side-by-side waiting for me to buy them. One is DORA for Kristina and the other is red & blue which matches the CARS theme for Keith. I am so excited!

This evening I got a haircut/color from my friend, Jen. What do you think?

THEN we picked up a pizza for dinner and now Tyler is going to give me a blessing. What a wonderful day. God has blessed me so much.

BIG NEWS: Tomorrow morning I will be having lapband surgery. I am nervous and excited for how this tool will help me win the weight loss battle I've had my whole life. My surgery is tomorrow at 8:45am. I hope/pray that all will go well. I would appreciate your prayers and thoughts and hopes for a swift recovery. Thank you. (((HUGS)))

Love the hair. And yes, I most definitely do believe in miracles! =) I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow. I have thought about looking into lapband surgery myself, so please feel free to post as much details as you would like! Love you!

First of all, I love the new hairdo - it looks so chic!

Secondly, I'll be praying for you tomorrow. Hope everything goes smoothly for you, and congrats on taking this important step.

Having been overweight myself I understand how hard it is being overweight and the difficulty in trying to lose said weight. Kudos to you for doing this - taking the first step is always the hardest! Having been on Weight Watchers for the past three months, I am able to offer these words of encouragement: it DOES get easier! The first week was hard, but as each week went on I found it easier and easier to keep on track, to the point where I'm now grumpy if I don't get at least 5 servings of fruit and veggies a day :-)

Good luck! I'll be rooting for you - you can do it! If ever need moral support from one who is currently going through the weight loss process, feel free to email me.
