Tyler has found at least 4 black (or brown, we're not sure yet) widows around our pool area. He has counted 6 web nests with a total of at least 20 egg sacs. Our landlord has contacted a pest control man who will be here tomorrow afternoon. I am totally freaked out.

LOL we probably have that many in our window seal! but if you aren't use to dealing with them pest control is probably best because they can be quite nasty! Zeke (my now 10 year old brother) got bit 3 years ago he was sick for about 4 days! Their bite is not usually deadly for anyone with a healthy immune system who weighs over 65lbs,but under that and little ones can defiantly be devastated by the effects. Either way you'll hate life for a few days.

AHHHHHH!!! I would seriously lose it!!! We found a HUGE one in our garage in Texas once. I went to get the camera... and when I came back it was GONE. I still get freaked out when I go in our garage years later thinking that maybe it stayed in our boxes or something... totally irrational, but they just terrify me. So glad you have a hubby who took care of them!
