Don’t give up. Don’t you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead. You keep your chin up. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come. Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don’t come until heaven; but for those who embrace the gospel of... Jesus Christ, they come. -Elder Jeffrey R. Holland

Priesthood Blessings
The kids start back to school this week. We had our FHE tonight about priesthood blessings, then everyone received a priesthood blessing from either Tyler or my brother, Evan. It was a very special experience seeing my children being blessed Tyler, seeing Tyler bless Evan, and seeing Evan bless Shelbee and Tyler. Tyler blessed me, also. I wasn't seeking anything particular in the blessing - just wanting to hear what Heavenly Father wanted to say to me. Heavenly Father blessed me in my physical difficulties and limitations due to my weight and that I would be able to meet my family's emotional needs - which are very important. Then the last part was a surprise to me - Heavenly Father blessed me that I will be blessed with the desire of my heart, to have more children. I was overcome with joy. We just fasted about this topic last week! I am grateful for the blessings that God gives to me and my family. :D

Blessings are truly a way the Lord gifts us. I can't imagine a life without the sweet feelings and answers blessings bring me.
Priesthood Blessings are wonderful. I am happy you were blessed with a blessing that you will have more children. You are an amazing mother.
That is wonderful! The Priesthood is so amazing. The Lord loves you and your family!
yay, how exciting!!!
Uh, how does that work? How do you know you will be blessed with more children? Does the Priesthood have a direct line to God, or what?

What a special day for you. I'm thrilled to hear of the Lord's blessings for you and your dear family. You deserve it, mama! Love you!
Oh wow... how wonderful! I believe in the power of priesthood. It's been such a blessing in my life to receive blessings, and to witness them come to pass. I'm so happy for you Jill. Each child who comes to your home is truly privileged. xoxo
Hi Jeb,
Thanks for your question. Yes, a priesthood blessing is given by someone who has the authority from God using the priesthood of God. The words that are spoken are what God wants to be spoken.
