Don’t give up. Don’t you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead. You keep your chin up. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come. Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don’t come until heaven; but for those who embrace the gospel of... Jesus Christ, they come. -Elder Jeffrey R. Holland

ER trip
Yesterday I woke up with pain in my frontal upper abdominal area. It usually starts on my right side and spreads across to the left side. I went in to the ER. They did bloodwork, x-rays, and an ultrasound and couldn't find anything wrong. I was there for 8 hours. They sent me home and said to take some motrin. *sigh*
On the way home from the hospital, Tyler bought me a sandwich from Firehouse Subs. Oh. My. Goodness. It was incredible. I don't like sandwiches, generally. My kids don't even get sandwiches in their lunches for school - I just don't care for them. I eat at Subway about once a year. But after eating this sub from Firehouse Subs? You better believe that I'll be going back. Their ham & turkey was so savory and delicious. Yum.
Last night I was super tired and fell asleep quickly - after my long day at the hospital - but I tossed and turned all night long. I didn't feel very rested this morning, even though I'd been in bed for 13 hours. (I KNOW!) I still have pain, but it's not as sharp as it was yesterday, & I can tell when my motrin wears off...I hope it will go away with time.

I hope they figure out what was wrong! I'm glad that you have motrin to help, at least.
Now I want to try Firehouse Subs, do you think they have one in Provo? Haha.
Happy belated Birthday! Never heard of Firehouse!
Oh no! Hope the pain goes away completely soon! What a scary thing that must have been - I'm glad you're on the road to recovery now. Sounds like Tyler has some excellent ideas about how to speed the healing process :-D Mmm...yummy food is always good, but it's especially good when you're feeling under the weather!
<> Hope the pain subsides soon!
