8 questions

My beautiful cousin, Carina (private blog), tagged me to asnwer the following 8 (+ 2 more that I added) questions. Here goes:

1. What is the most ridiculous thing you have ever done in your life?

I honestly cannot think of something ridiculous that I have done in my life. Suggestions, anyone?

2. Describe your perfect vacation. Where, who with, what would you do, etc. Doesn't matter the cost!

The upcoming cruise that my family is taking! We originally wanted to go to the Mediterranean, but now it’s the Caribbean. I’ve never been on a cruise before and I think that we’ll have a lot of fun together!

3. If you could automatically become fluent in one language, which one would it be and why?
Mandarin Chinese. My husband speaks Chinese and we’d like to live in China someday. I’ve taken one year of Chinese, but am certainly nowhere near fluent.

4. You are stranded on a desert island and only have five books to read for the rest of your life. What are they?

Books?! Um, I’m not a big reader, so, um, the scriptures and the Twilight series.

5. You have the day off work/school and have no pressing responsibilities. What do you do with yourself?

Wait a second, I’m not working OR going to school! So, I do laundry, dishes, clean house, prepare meals, grocery shopping…but if I didn’t have to any of those things? Probably watch some bollywood or girlie movies all snuggled up with a blanket and my hubby.

6. What is your dream job? Do you think it's realistic?

Opera singer. Realistic? No. When I have thought and prayed about becoming an opera singer, I have felt impressed that it is not where God wants me to be and that I wouldn’t be happy in that job. I love being a wife and a mother and those trump my desires to sing opera. However, I am open to any and all opportunities to use my talent for good whenever I can, so long as it doesn’t interfere with my priorities.

7. What is your favorite thing about yourself? Any particular reason?

My laugh. I like how happy it sounds.

8. When you log onto the computer, what is the first website that you go to (after email or Facebook)?

Google reader – I love to check everyone’s blog and see how they’re doing!

9. What is your favorite cooking website?

I LOVE Taste of Home. They have so many fabulous recipes on there. I subscribe to two of their magazines. You may have to subscribe to use their website? Not sure. Definitely worth looking into, especially with the holidays around the corner.

10. What is your favorite thing about your spouse or significant other?

There are so many things. With my recent CNA course, I realized how much Tyler truly supports me in what I do. He encourages me and helps me in any way that he can and is proactive about it.

I would like to tag 10 people to answer these same 10 questions, if they desire to do so, and if anyone else wants to do it, leave me a comment so I can check out your answers! Thanks!
