Pre-Birthday Festivities

My birthday is tomorrow. I love birthdays - they are so fun! I like having a reason to celebrate life. My brother, Evan, has the tradition of a week-long Birthday celebration. I don't think it will be a full week, but I have started the celebration a bit early this year - starting with a fun lunch date with Nichole yesterday at SQUID LIPS. I had their coconut shrimp and a virgin pina colada - so delicious!

We had a really nice time. She is such a sweet friend and I had a birthday coupon from SQUID LIPS, which made it all the better! :)

Today, after Keith's dr appt, I went and got a pedicure. I usually go with a friend but today I went solo. It was nice to not focus on anything except some pampering. I love those massage chairs...wouldn't be opposed to having one of those in my house, no sir!

Tonight I am going to make some strawberry crêpes so we can have them for my birthday breakfast tomorrow - it's a family tradition!
