Tomorrow will be one full week that we've been home. The only thing I can compare this adjustment to is the one with the twins 3 1/2 years ago - and this has been MUCH easier! The boys have been loved on by our older three kids and they seem happy to be here. Calvin and Silas are learning what it means to be part of a family - our family. The English is coming along, too.
Calvin has such spunk!
Every morning all the kids wait for the bus by the door. Calvin and Silas wave goodbye to their brother and sister and when they come home, they are there ready with hugs for their older siblings.
We called Tricare and were able to go ahead and schedule appointments for the boys to see a pediatric cardiologist for next Thursday - I am eager to see what they have to say. We also got an appt with our PCM for the boys the week after for their newborn assessments. I think it's funny that we got an appt with the cardiologist before the PCM. Seems a bit backwards. And we are having the school evaluate both boys to see if (read: when) they can begin in home therapy. Things are moving along nicely.
This next week we finally FINALLY have our followup in Jacksonville with Dr Childer's for Iryna. He will supposedly officially diagnose Iryna. Cannot wait for that.

I am glad things are going well. Your children look so happy together. :)
Everybody looks great! I'm so glad things are going relatively smoothly this time around. You deserve it, mama. So happy for you.
Oh friend--can't wait to hear how things go. So glad appointments are made and the boys are soon to be seen by the heart doctor--that will be a blessing :D
