8 years and counting!

Happy Birthday to my son, Keith! Keith turned 8 years old on May 17th. We set up a tour of a black hawk helicopter on base. It was a really neat experience. Everyone went but Anna (choir practice at school). Keith was especially thrilled with it.

These help the pilots see in the dark.

Helmet for pilots.

Keith is ready to go!

Iryna absolutely hated the noise. The helicopter wasn't turned on, but there were other planes on the lot that were.

Inside of the helicopter's body.

After the other planes turned off the engines, Iryna was happy again. :)

Showing us where we could cross the line. There was some security there monitoring us.

Our tour guide - very nice man.

Keith's birthday dinner: macaroni and cheese.

I made these delectable cupcakes for his class and for our family.

Pictures from Keith's birthday breakfast: strawberry crepes!

Keith had a wonderful birthday! He had crepes, went to school and had cupcakes with his class - they made him a cute birthday hat - then after school we went to the helicopter tour, then back home for macaroni & cheese, followed by presents and cupcakes. Keith got 2 dvds (CARS 2 and LOTS AND LOTS OF JETS & PLANES) and 4 small helicopters. It was a great day. We love you, Keith. We are so happy to have you in our family. You are growing and learning so much. Happy Birthday!
