Gobble Gobble

This morning I went on my 25 minute walk and then made some grits for Anna & Tyler. I somehow became swept up in things and didn't get to take a shower until after Anna went to school...oops. Alas, I was fairly productive today. We are looking to purchase a pot rack, and so I decided to look on ebay and amazon to find one. I'm not sure which one we'll get...still looking. (I had no idea how many styles there are!) We are also looking to hang a huge picture of a temple in our living room. The one I REALLY REALLY REALLY want is of the SLC Temple at dusk. Have you seen it? It looks like the temple is bronze...I want to get a print of it in the 16 x 20 size, but I can only find it in the 8 x 10 size. My mom actually had a framed copy of it while I was growing up. I have called deseret book and they say they don't have it. :( Anyone know where I can get it??? If we can't find it, which is likely, then we will settle on another temple. Currently we're leaning towards the San Diego one. :)

I did laundry today and also did some cooking/baking early for Thanksgiving. I made 3 pies-pumpkin, chocolate cream, and banana cream. Then I made mashed potatoes and then mashed sweet potatoes. Tomorrow I will make rolls, corn, grean bean casserole, fruit salad, turkey, stuffing and gravy + heat up both the mashed potatoes. We will have enough to feed a small army, I think. :) I went by Hobby Lobby because the stamps are 50% off this week. I purchased some acrylic stamps for the blocks that I have. I hope to be able to spend some time actually scrapbooking instead of only purchasing items for it! ;)

Anna came off the bus saying "Gobble Gobble!" So cute! Tyler was kind and picked up some pizza for dinner--since I was overwhelmed with the cooking/cleaning in the kitchen. We're going to play stratego tonight.

For those of you who enjoy Weird Al---there are few of us, I know...it's all my brother's fault for numbing me to his weirdness until I actually find some of his stuff to be entertaining---this is a link to a music video that he recently made, which makes fun of a recent rap song. I don't remember everything that occurs in the music video, so please use caution and don't hold me accountable if there is anything inappropriate in it. That sounds like a lot of work, but it also sounds really yummy! How fun for you! Happy Thanksgiving!

Jill, I have that pic of the Temple that you're talking about. It is really old tho - it might not be in the best condition. The frame is pretty crappy. If you want it let me know. Not sure how I would mail it to you, but we can work those things out. I'll take a pic of it and send that to you so that you can see if it really is the one you want. I'm not sure what size it is, but it's bigger than 8x10. Anywhousen, let me know!
