A Lot To Improve On

It's easy to go to Stake Conference and leave with 100 things that you need to work on. Elder Eyering had so many good things to say. He spoke on realizing the potential of our families and that we should strive to have the Holy Ghost with us at all times. I could go on and on and on...I have a lot to improve on. The music went well, I sang in the Stake Choir. The Spirit was very strong, it was a wonderful day.

We came home and ate lunch and then had nap time! YEA! Now we're up and planning to play some games with Anna. It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is this week. I'm trying to make it the perfect holiday--since it's our first away from family. I'm going to make two things that I've never made before: mashed sweet potatoes with a brown sugar topping and stuffing. For some reason, we never had these in my family growing up. Alas, my husband did and I want this to be a fun holiday for him as well.

Of course, with Thanksgiving means that it's time to get out the Christmas decorations! HOORAY!!!! It's the most wonderful time of the year! I am eager to put white lights on the two lovely pine trees in my front yard. I can just picture them now...

I too am eager to put up the Christmas decorations. I got the box down this past weekend, but Bruce said I can't put them up until after Thanksgiving. I just want as much time to look at them as possible!! Are you still into snowmen??

Hey, I had fun catching up on your posts. You've been busy! That is so sad about the dinner miscommunication. Wish I was there to help with the leftovers... You are an amazing cook. Ahh, I can hardly wait for Christmas, myself. Yeah! Bring it on!

Snowmen are fun, but I'm seriously overloaded with them. Tyler is really wanting to downsize and I don't even have room for all the ones I own! But of course whenever I see a snowman--I want it! (go figure)
