Prayers

Somehow, it would be easier to deal with the situation with Nastya if she had already been adopted and it was finalized - but it hasn't been yet, and so hope remains. There is an idea that Nick's orphanage director is going to approach the judge during the 10 day waiting period (before this other family can legally take Nastya home) and explain the situation about them being twins and that there is a family who wants to adopt both of them. Your continued prayers would be appreciated on this idea. We want to keep both Nick & Nastya together - and not to have them separated. As much as it pains me, I'd rather have this other family adopt them together than separate them. They arrived before us in Ukraine, so that is why they are able to adopt them before us, but it's just wrong to have them separated. I am hopeful that if God wants for Nastya to be ours - that a miracle could happen. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts in our behalf during this difficult time.

I will pray for a miracle. I hope things work out for them to stay together and for you to have them.

I will pray for you and your family. Good Luck with finding out if you can stop the other peoples adoption. God's hand is in the details of our lives, even when it hurts.

Whoa. This should not be happening! I know you must really be grieving. I hope you get your miracle and the twins can be together.

I agree with amy. Hopefully they will still keep them together after all. Who knows what God's plan is and what he has in store for us and our lives? We're praying for you guys! Call if you need to talk.

I'm glad there is still hope. It would be wonderful if they could stay together.

Oh, Jill, I am so sorry to hear about this. I can't believe what's going on! You are definitely in our prayers. The Lord works in mysterious ways--we just have to figure out what His plan is for you and your family! We're praying for you! =)

Praying for you guys! This is so horrible. Why can't something be done before they go to court and not wait until the 10 day waiting period? What if the 10 days are waived (slim chance, but there is still a chance). Keep us posted!

Although it would be ideal to keep the children together, I can't image what the unsuspecting family will feel when they find this out. It is odd the director is changing her stance now, she was the one who had to approve the separate adoption to begin with. I bet the other family didn't even know their was a twin! My heart breaks for all of you, praying for God's grace and peace throughout all this!
