...sore...throat...

The sore throat is still here. *sigh* I had a very low key day - the cloudy/rainy weather helped me to relax. I did the dishes, practiced the piano, read my scrippys, worked on my Rusalka aria, and worked on my photobook (digital scrapbook on Shutterfly). I'm AMAZED at how quickly I can scrapbook online. I'm already up to my December 2007 pictures! I'm almost to 2008! Woo-hoo! My goal is to catch up to where we are now before we go to Ukraine. I'm amazed at how easy it is to scrapbook online. I like Shutterfly - but with the next book I think I'll look for a website that has more variety on backgrounds. Any suggestions?

This evening Tyler & I went on a date. We were going to check out some different vans at some dealerships - not that we can afford them, just to see which brand of vehicle we prefer in case we find a good deal on it somewhere. Right now we're prefering the Honda Odyssey. Please vote on my van poll or leave me a comment with your preference of van.

For my digital scrapbooking I use free digital scrapbook paper from Shabby Princess (shabbyprincess.com) but you have to have a little know-how with some photo editing software to manipulate it (obviously you also have to have photo editing software).

Anyway, there are lots of really cute backgrounds and fonts there. I have purchased only a few sets.

Sorry you're still sick. :( I have some great sore throat medicine if you need it. I remember one night I had a cough and you came by after 10pm to deliver some cough drops for me. It was soooo sweet! So I could return the favor if you need it!

We owned a Plymouth Voyager for a couple years. It worked well for us until we had another baby and needed something a little roomier. It was nice, but I don't really know what to compare it to, because I've never owned another van.

Good luck with the scrapbooking. I've been thinking about going digital. Do you like the quality as much as traditional scrapping? I just love the 3D look with all the embellishments I use, it would be hard to give that up...

I've never used Shutterfly, so I can't make a comparison, but I really like Snapfish. I've been using them for several years to do scrapbooks for family Christmas presents. Every year, they have more background and layout choices. Plus, if you are ordering more than one, you get 20% off on the additional copies. Love them!

I want to see your nifty digital pages! I need some motivation to get going again...

Hey Jill!
I have been using winkflash.com for digital scrapbooking. I don't know if they have more templates than who you have, but they are a great deal. Right now until the 16th they are having unlimited pages for $20 in their photo album books. Check it out. Jenn W. has done some and they look great!
As far as vans go, i would get either a Toyota or a Honda. Even if you have to buy a used, they will always last you longer and have less breakdowns. We've had our '99 Sienna for almost 5 years and have only done maintainance on it, except for one fix. We are really happy with it, even though it's used it was soo worth not paying what the dealer wanted for a new one.
