Iced Choffy

My friend, Tina, found this recipe and shared it with me. If you are wanting to make the switch from iced coffee to something that is actually good for you, then try Iced Choffy. There is another recipe below that is my tried and true recipe from Sarah. Which do you prefer?

ICED CHOFFY:

Ingredients:
32oz of STRONGLY brewed Choffy (Cooled) - I used almost twice as many grounds and let it steep for an hour
1 12 oz can of evaporated milk
1 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk

Directions
1.  Mix the evaporated milk and the condensed milk together and refrigerate until cold.
2.  Fill a tall glass with ice to the top
3.  Pour Choffy into glass until half full.
4.  Add the cream mixture until glass is full.
5.  Mix between glasses or stir.
6.  I added whipped cream on top!
7. ENJOY!

Depending on your glass size, this recipe will leave you with enough for several cups.

Sarah's Iced Choffy:
Ingredients:
Strongly brewed Choffy, cooled
Creamer (French vanilla or any other flavor you prefer)
Choffy ice cubes, optional
Straw (because straws are fun!)

Directions:

Put Choffy ice cubes into tall glass. Pour in brewed Choffy. Add creamer to desired sweetness. Enjoy.

That sounds good. Wish I could try it, but that's more than 2000 calories and my maximum food allowance per day is 1700.

JEB,

The recipe that I usually make is brewed Choffy that is chilled, then add Choffy ice cubes and some creamer and truvia. Much lower in the calories and delicious. :)

Yes, my version is not a low cal or low fat but that recipe is for 4-6 servings and they are in a tall glass with lots of ice so its not as bad as 2000 calories. If you make tall glasses its more like 500 calories if you use a smaller glass apx. 330 calories.
