Day 2 showed some improvements! I got to hold Silas for 2 1/2 hours, which was heavenly. I think he enjoyed it as much as I did. Silas ate some crackers and drank some milk in the afternoon, so I ordered him some dinner. He ate a small amount of chicken, macaroni and cheese, peas, and mixed fruit. It hurt for him to be moved at all, so having me hold him twice meant that he cried while putting him in my arms AND from me back to the bed. It's so sad hearing him cry. :*( He had a sponge bath and sat up for 2 minutes. They said they will try to have him stand up tomorrow. I am sure there will be more crying. It's so hard for me to hear him cry! He did smile 3 times today and giggled once while talking with Anna on the phone. :)
