Pumpkin Patch

This is the first time in a few years that Tyler has been able to go with us to a pumpkin patch! The kids love to dress up in their Halloween costumes and pick out a pumpkin.

My 3 sons.

Little Irynka.

Daddy and Mama joined Silas in the fun!

Even Anna agreed to pose for a picture! Look at this gorgeous girl! #loveher

Our loot!

We have been having a shoe problem out in the garage - having shoes everywhere! I woke up one night and had the thought to put some thin shelves on the wall - and Tyler made it a reality! Hooray for a handy husband.

This 4 quart crockpot of sausage and white beans filled up all seven bowls for our current family size. I am starting to realize how much food I am going to have to start preparing in a few months. #growingfamily#internationaladoption #bulgariabound #glutenfree #dairyfree

In the past two months, both Keith and Iryna have been diagnosed with lactose intolerance. Neither can have milk, cream, yogurt, or cheese. Welcome to our family with food issues.

I don't know if it's an option where you guys are, but some lactose intolerance issues are addressed by using raw milk. Pasteurization kills off the good bacteria in the milk and cream which makes it harder for our bodies to digest. It tends to be more expensive and it's not available in every state but it might be cheaper/easier than going without or using milk substitutes! ;)
